Even after soldiers get killed, their parents promote the war so their dead kids won't be lonely in heaven

Ted Rall gets it, too, a lot of the troops enlist and fight in Iraq and Afghanistan because they want to participate in these conflicts. By the way, if you don't want your children or your friends to return from Iraq and Afghanistan with mild traumatic brain injuries, do everything you can to stop them from doing it. After all, if the prospect of brutalizing Iraqis and Afghans is not a sufficient deterrent, perhaps the risk of having their brains scrambled might induce potential enlistees to think twice before entering the US military to perpetuate the occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan.
