A great Pogues/Dubliners song from 1987:By incorporating the values of punk into traditional Irish music, and, indeed, creating their version of it, the Pogues gave it a renewed vitality, a sense that it reflected the real, everyday life experiences of people. Note also that this particular performance was for the benefit of the Irish Republican movement.
